Righteous Indignation

That thing or person that is provoking or irritating you, if taken the
right way, could wind up being the catalyst to launch you into
purpose/destiny.

Have you ever noticed that the time when you said, "Forget them" or "Screw
it," you wound up doing something great for yourself and your life?

For example: After I was told that what I was doing didn't make sense
because it wasn't bringing in money and that I was selfish for wanting to

The Real Choice

There are times in life when we are at a crossroad, and we're faced with
difficult choices...

However, often the choices we have to make, are not the choices they appear
to be on the surface. For example, one may believe that she has to choose
between two jobs, or about staying in a particular relationship when in
fact, the choice presented is really about faith vs. sight, God vs. man,
purpose vs. not living in authenticity, life vs. death(soul).

All Over The Place

What I have to say today may seem to be all over the place, but it's all
connected somehow...
It's amazing how clearly we can express ourselves about what we don't want
or like, but when it comes to what we want, it seems a bit more difficult
to define.

Thing is, if we don't know who we are, what we want and where we desire to
go, any road will take us there. When we know exactly where want to go, it ... << MORE >>

Self Control

Whatever we are trying to accomplish, it requires self discipline and self
control.

We can't use our predisposition to something as an excuse for not
overcoming in a particular area. Practising self control is a matter of
the will...it may not always be easy, but it is necessary if we are to have
our breakthrough.

Self control often involves the sacrifice of something we want now for the
benefit of something we want MORE in the long run. In other ... << MORE >>

Change and Responsibility

How often have we said, "When she/he changes, then I will..." or "If he/she
would only be however, then I would be happy"? Well, suppose they never
change, then what? Will we go through life being unhappy or giving our
power to others? Will we be constantly on an emotional roller coaster
basing our actions and living our lives on what others say or do?

Truth is, we can't change anyone or make them behave in a way that would
suit us, we can only ... << MORE >>

Subject To Change

So often, we place our confidence in things that are subject to change...

So, you get your sense of security from your marriage, guess what, that's
subject to change. You define yourself by your job, that too can change.
You think that your money has given you class, well class cannot be
bought, you either have it or your don't. It's not about where you live,
who you know, where you work or how much money you have... it's all subject
to change, and ... << MORE >>

Judgement

This morning, I had an experience which left me feeling like the size of a
pin.

I realised that God used this experience to show me that I still had pride
in me and really cared about how people perceived me because of this
scenario. Despite how well we do what we do or how much of an expert we
are at whatever, there are some areas in which we have our insecurities.
One for these areas for me is parenting. I think many ... << MORE >>

The Time Is Now

Have you ever found yourself putting off dealing with things because "the
time is just not right?" Well, exactly when is the time ever right?

Life throws so many things at us, and we are not guaranteed tomorrow. The
present is God's gift to us, and every move we make should be in gratitude
for every moment we have. Moment by moment, we have the opportunity to
make choices which support our life's purpose or negate it. God holds us
accountable for how we spend ... << MORE >>

Beams and Specks

Sometimes, it's so difficult for us to see beyond our own mess to be
genuinely happy for others. Worse yet, we try to rain on other people's
parade because misery likes company.

We need to examine the reasons why certain things upset us so much? Could
it be that they are reflections of ourselves in some way? What is it
saying to us about ourselves, because it's always about us and not the
other person. (I hope you understand the context in which I'm saying ... << MORE >>

Re-Building

For too long, we have lived within structures that do not support who we
are or what we were created to be...

We now live in a time, where God is breaking down those structures that
have not served us well to build in us structures which are supportive.
Don't see the 'breaking" as a negative thing, it is an honour to be moulded
by God for His purpose.

Many of our internal structures and underlying beliefs have had their basis
